TicketEzy Terms & Conditions


Tickets are sold by TICKETEZY.CO.NZ ( UNITED Group Live Limited Trading as TicketEzy ) as the agent for those who are promoting or otherwise providing the event (“Organiser”) for which tickets are sold. Any representations made by the Organiser regarding the event at any time and any associated complaints or claims are the responsibility of the Organiser and not TicketEzy. The Organiser sets the ticket prices. Any ticket issued is subject to the following conditions and may be revoked by the issuer, proprietor of the venue and/or organiser of the event for breach of any of the following conditions. TicketEzy may change or amend these Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions of sale at any time.

Definitions:

“TicketEzy” means UNITED Group live Limited trading as TicketEzy the owner of the website.
“event” and “events” means any event, concert or other promotions for which tickets are being sold through the website
“Organiser” means the person or legal entity putting on or organising the event
“tickets” and “ticket” means tickets for events sold through the online sales part of the website
“website” means www.ticketezy.co.nz and or www.events.ticketezy.co.nz
“you” and “your” means any person, persons or legal entity who uses the website to buy tickets

Purchase of Tickets is subject to the following terms & conditions:

These terms and conditions govern the sale of tickets through the website. By purchasing tickets online from the website you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions.
These terms and conditions are to be read together with any other policies and conditions on the website and with any terms and conditions that may be printed on the tickets or displayed at the venue for the event.
You acknowledge that TicketEzy acts as an agent for the Organiser and the tickets are sold subject to any rights the Organiser reserves.
Some events may have age restrictions and it is your responsibility to determine prior to the purchase of tickets whether such policies or disclaimers exist. TicketEzy is not liable for refusal of admittance based on any type of restriction nor is TicketEzy liable for any event that may contain content that shocks, offends, frightens, angers or traumatises you or any person you have purchased tickets for.
All ticket orders are subject to availability. TicketEzy reserves the right to cancel an order at any time if tickets are no longer available at the price advertised or if the event is sold out, cancelled or rescheduled.
You agree to follow and abide by all rules and policies of the Organiser and of the venue where the event is located. Should you be ejected from the event for failure to follow or abide by any rules or policies, you shall be subject to all applicable fines and legal or other expenses associated with the ejection.
You agree to any additional terms and conditions of entry that may be set by the Organiser and/or the Venue at the event.
All claims and complaints are the sole responsibility of the Organiser.
Tickets cannot be exchanged or refunded after purchase, except in accordance with the applicable laws in the jurisdiction of purchase. If a refund is required by law, liability is limited to the full transaction amount you originally paid minus any booking, card processing or transaction fees. Any donations or contributions paid as part of a transaction are non-refundable.
Funds from transactions processed via TicketEzy’s credit card processing system ( Stripe ), are held until settlement with the Organiser, usually at the conclusion of the event. Transactions utilising TicketEzy’s credit card processing system ( Stripe ) are clearly identified by the Stripe gateway name and accepted cards next to the credit card form prior to confirming purchase.
Cameras and video recorders (film, digital or otherwise), audiotape recorders and all other recording devices may be prohibited at the event.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission with reasonable cause. Late arrivals may be prevented from admission until a suitable break in the programme, if there is any.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission if valid identification for concession tickets is not provided.
The Organiser reserves the right to refuse admission where tickets are lost or damaged, or tickets are not purchased through TicketEzy or other authorised points of sale.
The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw, replace or substitute artists, or amend the programme, prices and/or seating arrangements if any.
Your personal information is held by TicketEzy, the Organiser and/or the Venue whose event you are booking tickets to. It will not be sold or passed on to any other party unless you have given the express consent to do so.
Reselling or distributing tickets purchased on our website without the express permission of TicketEzy is prohibited.
If you wish to close your TicketEzy account and have us delete any personal data stored against your purchase history, simply email our team on support@ticketezy.co.nz to make this request and we will do so, provided the erasure does not contravene any laws applicable. Your Ticket

Upon confirmation of your credit card authorisation, you will receive a confirmation email which contains a PDF of your ticket that is sent to the email address you provided during the ticket purchasing process, from which you can print your ticket(s).

Look after your ticket(s) as you would cash. It must be presented in order to gain access to the event. The code on the ticket uniquely identifies this ticket and the purchaser, and can be redeemed only once. Multiple copies of this ticket will not allow multiple entries. In the event that multiple copies of this code are presented at the event, the Organiser may refuse entry to all ticket holders presenting tickets with this code.

When presenting concession tickets or entering events with an age restriction in place, appropriate identification must be shown. If suitable identification is not presented, you may be refused admittance to the event.

All ticket prices are shown in NZ Dollars and include GST where applicable. TicketEzy accepts most major cards eg. Visa, Mastercard etc.

Postponements, Cancellations & Refunds:

Tickets cannot be refunded, exchanged or cancelled once issued except in accordance with the applicable laws of New Zealand.

In the event of a cancellation, the purchase will be refunded directly to the credit card or Visa Debit card used for the original purchase. In the event of a postponement, purchased tickets for the original date will be valid for the new date unless otherwise notified. You have the option to seek a refund for the value of the purchased ticket(s) for a postponed event by contacting TicketEzy prior to the replacement date for the postponed show. In the event that an Organiser authorises ticket refunds for a postponed event, they will be issued only to the original credit card used for the purchase.

Purchase from Unauthorised Sources:

Tickets are sold on behalf of the Organiser by TicketEzy. Do not purchase tickets from any source other than the TicketEzy. Tickets purchased from any other source may be unauthorised copies and may be refused admittance to the event.

Please Note: Viagogo IS NOT permitted to resell or distribute tickets for events that are for sale on TicketEzy. Purchasing tickets from Viagogo is at your own risk. Tickets purchased from Viagogo will be denied at entry of the event and will be not be refundable.

Ticket Limits:

The amount of tickets available for purchase may be limited per attendee. The event page will state the purchase limit if any set by the Organiser. If you need to purchase more than the ticket limits set for an event, contact the event Organiser or alternatively you will have to purchase the remaining in a separate transaction. This policy is meant to restrict unfair purchasing practices.

Changes in Program:

The Organiser reserves the right to withdraw, replace, add or substitute artists or performers without notice.

Credit Card Problems:

TicketEzy’s ticketing system involves an immediate exchange of information between us and your bank via Stripe payment gateway. Occasionally, your bank may not authorise a transaction, based on your account status or your card not being enabled for online purchases. In these instances, it is your bank denying your card, not TicketEzy, so please contact your bank for a resolution.

Where a ticket is purchased by credit card and a chargeback is subsequently issued, you will be liable for and will be invoiced for both the full transaction value and a reasonable chargeback management fee.

TICKETEZY.CO.NZ ( UNITED Group Live Limited trading as TicketEzy ) reserves the right to amend these Ticket Purchase Terms & Conditions of sale at any time.

By purchasing items from the TicketEzy website or TicketEzy Events website, you agree to these terms.

Each event has its own specific refund policy. By default, TicketEzy does not offer refunds or exchanges on all items unless required by law to do so. Please check the fine print of the event you’re attending for refund specifics if any.

If in the unlikely event that the organiser has to postpone an event due to a natural disaster or weather related issues, the event organiser will do an event wide broadcast and refunds may be processed if the organisers gives the approval to do so or if required by law. In this case please raise a support request or email support@ticketezy.co.nz to start the refund process. Please note only the base ticket price will be refunded. All booking, service, or transaction fees will not be refunded.

If an event has been postponed, all tickets will be valid for the new dates of the event. If the event has been changed completely, your ticket will be transferred automatically. Please refer to the cancellation policy or our full T&C’s via the link below.

In the case of purchasing the wrong ticket type for an event, please contact the original event organiser for a resolution. The event organiser reserves the right to refuse exchanges, transfers or canceled tickets if the buyer was at fault.
